Welcome to Safe Families Austin!
Safe Families for Children (SFFC) of Austin Texas is committed to protecting children and preserving families by surrounding them with caring, compassionate community. When crisis hits a home, there are many in our communities that have no one to call or support them when facing crisis situations and challenging circumstances. That is why we exist. Safe Families helps keep children safe and out of the foster care system while supporting parents with resources and services to resolve the crisis.

Our Impact
What began with one family in Chicago, IL has grown into an international movement with over 100 chapters in 30 states and 3 different countries. Our goal is to engage families via faith communities to open their hearts and homes to care for vulnerable children. Since 2003, we’ve had 68,000 hosting arrangement and served over 40,000 children and families with 95% of children returning to their parents or a relative. Family preservation and strengthening is what we are all about!
